REFUND POLICY

Paid tributes (one-time)

A paid tribute is a one-time purchase that places a labeled tribute on a memorial. We will refund a paid tribute, in full, within fourteen (14) days of purchase if you have changed your mind, the purchase was made in error, or the memorial it was attached to has since been removed.

After fourteen (14) days, we may still issue a refund at our discretion, especially in cases of charge-back-worthy mistakes. We will not unreasonably refuse.

Annual memorial candle

The annual memorial candle is a recurring subscription that keeps a candle glowing on a memorial.

• You can cancel at any time. We do not auto-renew silently; we will email you before any renewal charge.
• If you cancel within seven (7) days of a renewal charge and have not used the renewed period, we will refund that renewal in full.
• After seven (7) days, the subscription will continue until the end of the period you have already paid for, and will not renew again. We do not pro-rate partial periods after that window.

When we cannot refund

• If a memorial is removed at the request of the family or for a policy violation after a paid tribute has been displayed for more than fourteen (14) days, we may decline to refund. We will offer to move the tribute to a replacement memorial where possible.
• We will not refund Stripe processing fees if your bank has already deducted them; this is rare.

How to request a refund

Email support@vigilgarden.com with the email address you used at checkout and the memorial URL. We will respond within a reasonable time and aim to issue approved refunds within seven (7) business days. Refunds are returned to the original payment method.

No charitable claim

Payments on VigilGarden are for the service we provide. They are not charitable donations. We do not promise that a percentage of your payment goes to any charity unless that promise is made explicitly at checkout for a specific product.
